Product Description

DESCRIPTION OF PRODUCT:

A soluble powder formulation of iron chelate (ethyiene diamine tetraacetate disodium salt) containing water soluble of Fe 13.2% w/w

Uses :

1. For the correction of iron deficiency in many agricultural, horticulture and fruit crops. Recommended for foliar application or application to acid soils.

2. As a iron source in hydroponics and other nutrient solutions.

3. EDTA- Fe 13.2% (Iron Chelate) should be applied where there is a recognized need. Do not exceed the appropriate dose rate. 

4. It is compatible with all other EDTA chelates and many crop care chemicals. They are also fully compatible with solutions containing soluble phosphates such as liquid feeds and foliar fertilizers. 

Rates of application:

HYDROPONICS

First check the pH of the nutrient solution and if necessary adjust this to 5-6, then add EDTA - Fe 13.2% at the rate of 20 grams per 1000 litres of the nutrient solution.

SOIL APPLICATION 

Dissolve the appropriate amount of EDTA -Fe 13.2% in a convenient volume of water (1-3 kilograms per hectare or 100 grams per 18 litres water sprayer) and apply to the soil as a coarse, low-pressure spray.

FOLIAR APPLICATION 

The amount of EDTA Fe to be applied should mixed with a volume of water appropriate to the crop leaf area not exceeding a solution concentration of 0.1% or 100 grams per 100 litres water. Coat the leaves and stems with a thin film of moisture with little or no runoff and in the late afternoon.
